The Humane Society released an undercover video of extraordinarily cruel treatment of animals at a pig supplier for Tyson Foods, the largest meat producer in the U.S. The video is shocking. Baby pigs are being kicked around like soccer balls. Sick mother pigs are being beaten. And sows are being locked in “gestation crates” - cages so small the animal can barely move, and can’t even turn around…for their entire lives. There is no reason to treat animals this cruelly.

It shouldn’t take intrepid animal welfare activists going undercover to document mistreatment. Tyson should be making every effort to root animal mistreatment out of its supply chain. And with so much momentum building around this issue now, we have a huge opportunity to make the second largest meat producer in the world stop this abuse for good.

I will never eat Tyson foods again! This is so horrible I didn't even finish watching this video! Do people honestly think that because these animals can't talk that they can't feel the pain? Some people just need to think about how they would feel if they were in the same situation as these pigs, locked in a cage so small that you can't even turn around, Being held by your feet and swung around and around and you can do nothing because you are so small and helpless, Would you treat a human being like this? Would you grab a human baby by the feet and swing it like that? Animal cruelty is defiantly an issue here and if it was up to me i would have this place shut down! Could you imagine if you broke your leg and couldn't walk and someone just put all their weight on that limb to try to make you move? Sickening, just sickening! What makes people think that this kind of torture is alright???? Those people have something wrong going on in their minds, Just insane.
